Terms & Conditions

Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions may result in the loss of your child’s place in the setting.

  • Each child must have their own completed set of forms: a Contract, a Child Record form and a Parental Consent form.  The Contract must be signed by both parents if they have joint responsibility for the child.  The contract must specify the type of contract (i.e. all year care, term time only or occasional care) and the number of contractual hours per week.
  • Additional or part hours outside the contracted hours will be calculated to the next half hour and are paid in arrears the following month.  This includes extra hours required during school holidays.
  • Contracts may be cancelled at any time by either party with four weeks written notice.  The notice period when cancelling a contract must not include periods when the setting is not being paid.   We reserved the right to cancel a contract immediately if a child’s behaviour becomes such that the safety and well-being of other children in our care is being threatened.  If it is necessary for a parent to terminate their contract immediately, then payment in lieu of notice must be paid.
  • If additional hours become the norm, we reserve the right to invite parents to review their number of contracted hours.
  • Payment is not required for any days that the setting may be closed outside of bank hoildays.
  • Where fees are not paid by 5th of the month, an administration fee of £25 will be added to the next invoice.
  • General excursion fees, where an entrance charge is payable, will be discussed before the event if the parents are expected to pay or contribute towards this.  Most are included in our hourly rates.
  • A minimum of four weeks notice of planned holidays should be given.
  • We require one month’s notice for a change in hours or cancellation of a contract.
  • Renewal contracts will be issued annually each September.

ALL YEAR CARE
  • Payment is required for all contracted hours even if the child is absent due to illness, holiday or bank holidays.
  • Payment is required in advance at the beginning of each month for all contracted hours.

TERM TIME ONLY
  • Payment is required for all term time days.
  • Payment is required in advance at the beginning of each month for all contracted hours.
