Administration of Medicines
In accordance with the Statutory Framework For the Early Years, we are happy to administer medication to your child as long as the medication has been prescribed (written instruction from a doctor):
A child must then be temperature free (around 36.4°C ) for at least 36 hours before they are allowed back in the setting.
- A permission form is completed before commencement of the medication (Prescription Medication Administration Form).
- The medication is in the original container and states the name of the child and the dose to be administered.
